!   In case of Vista operating system you should

  • Click on the program icon with the Mouse right button after the installation of AxisVM program

  • Choose the Properties menu item from the Quick Menu.

  • Select the Compatibility tab on the appearing dialog and turn on the "Run as administrator" checkbox.

    •

  • Tryout Version: all functions of the software are fully enabled within a capacity limitation of 40 line elements and 400 surface elements, 20 Load Cases, and 10 Mode Shapes, and there is no time limit on the usage of the program. The model that is constructed in this trial software can be analyzed and the results obtained in both graphical and written form. Professional engineers receive full email-based product support.

  • Student Version: this download is designed to allow students a fully integrated experience in model building and editing using the powerful leading edge graphical tools built into AxisVM. All functions of the software are fully enabled within a capacity limitation of 40 line elements and 400 surface elements, 20 Load Cases, and 10 Mode Shapes, and there is no time limit on the usage of the program. The model that is constructed in this student software can be analyzed and the results obtained in both graphical and written form. Students can learn the fundamental skills for FEA analysis independent of a fully enabled network program, which saves time and load on department facilities.   

  • Try and Buy version: full version functional evaluation program limited to 30 days of usage. All operations of the program are enabled including file save, print, import and export commands. In addition, all of the add-on modules are included.  Availability of this time-limited license is provided only to professional engineers who require a fully functional program for their software evaluation requirements.  As such, each license is also granted full email-based product support. Registration is required.

  • These pre-recorded demos of the software in operation allow for prospective user review of the features of the software and the overall look and feel of the program. These demos offer a comprehensive overview of several segments of the software. The first four demos provide a complete review of the model building and model editing features using the creative editing tools and the highly intuitive graphic interface. These include visual examples of models with a variety of finite element meshes, support conditions, and loads. The analysis results are graphically displayed on screen and the tabular and dBase reports potential is demonstrated.

 Service Packs for AxisVM (version 9, 8, 7)

Setup of AxisVM 9 release 3h Service Pack

  • First download the Setup program for AxisVM 9, then please, follow the steps of installing.  Setup folder can be the same as the previous AxisVM folder or you can choose a different one. To avoid problems due to erroneous downloads make a backup copy of the previous AxisVM folder content.

  • Have a look at the list of developments (History file) and have a knowledge of AxisVM 9 New Features.

Steps of installing:

  • To use the hardware key (dongle) Sentinel driver 7.3.0 or higher is required. Download  Sentinel driver 7.5.0 if necessary and follow the instructions. To install the driver you need administrator rights!

  • If you choose a different folder for the new release copy the license file (AxisVM8_xxxx.key, where xxxx stands for the key number) from your previous AxisVM folder to the new setup folder.

  • If you have a network license install the latest Sentinel driver on the server.

  • In case of Vista operating system you should

  • Download the latest Sentinel drivert (Sentinel driver 7.5.0).

  • Click on the program icon with the Mouse right button after the installation of AxisVM program

  • Choose the Properties menu item from the Quick Menu.

  • Select the Compatibility tab on the appearing dialog and turn on the "Run as administrator" checkbox.

    •

  • Run the installed AxisVM 9.

  • If AxisVM9 cannot run do the following:

    • Go to Control Panel / Add/remove programs.

    • Remove Sentinel System Driver and Sentinel Protection Installer.

    • Restart the system.

    • Reinstall Sentinel driver.

    • Run AxisVM 9.

    • If AxisVM 9 cannot run contact our staff (Company >>).

  • Download the Help file and copy it to the program folder.

  • You can download the whole User's Manual (pdf in A4 format)

Setup of  AxisVM 8+ release 4g Service Pack

First download the Setup program for AxisVM 8+ (release 4d), then start it. Please, follow the steps of the detailed description of AxisVM 9 installing. Setup folder can be the same as the previous AxisVM folder or you can choose a different one. To avoid problems due to erroneous downloads make a backup copy of the previous AxisVM folder content.

Setup of  AxisVM 7 release 6d Service Pack

To avoid problems due to corrupted files it is recommended to create a backup copy of your AxisVM directory before updating.

The downloadable executable (.exe) file is a self-extracting archive. Copy/download this file to your computer in an empty folder and run it. Move the unpacked files to your AxisVM folder (overwrite the old files). If updating is successful the splash screen and the About dialog displays the updated version number.

THIS SERVICE PACK CONTAINS FILES FOR UPDATING ONLY AND IT CANNOT BE RUN AS A STANDALONE APPLICATION.
